This South Valley Tour gives you a taste of history, culture and nature. In one day you will taste it all. You’ll visit the water temple, a pre-Inka urban city and a beautiful church.
In Tipon we will visit an archaeological site. A place to see the royal chambers of the Inca Wiraqocha. This site is known for its imperial style and impressive hydraulic engineering in magnificent mountain scenery. Because of the honour goddess of water, everything is still intact.
Pikillacta is an impressive regional centre of the Wari culture, which was occupied by the Inkas.
This magical city was made up of more than 1000 constructions between Colcas, squares, houses, temples, and streets; These buildings were up to 4 stories high.
Andahuaylillas is a colonial village. We will visit a church built in the 16th century. Most importantly the church is decorated with spectacular artwork, canvases and gold plated frames. It is also built from sun-dried bricks, which makes an interesting site to visit.
The south valley tour was beautiful, I loved the small town Tipon the most, which is just outside of Cusco. This valley tour like most is not to be missed. Visit the south valley and thank me later
This south valley tour was a good experience. I’m glad I didn’t miss the south valley! only a small amount of trekking and it combines nature, Inka history and culture all in one. I think you’ll stuggle to fine a better Cusco tour that offers all 3.
A great day of learning about the Inka culture. I love Peru and love Cusco. South Valley was a nice place to explore with incredible views. It was nice to do small treks around the valley. I was on a group tour of 10 people. I recommend this south valley tour to everyone.
A visit to Cusco is not complete without the valley tour. sacred valley and south valley are both beautiful with great views of the Andes. It is easy to jump on a group tour and off you go to explore the wonders of the Inkas, not much trekking was involved which I’m glad after hiking up to Machu Pichhu. thank you SK Cusco tours for a great trip.
I manged to book the south valley tour last minute and i’m glad i did, Thank you sk cusco tours for letting me join the valley tour. It was certainly one of my highlights whilst in cusco. This and of course machu picchu. Cusco is a place full of treks and 7 days just wasn’t enough to see it all. Next time im in cusco i will spend more time in the south valley.
