Join Sk Cusco Tours on our Huasao Tour, exploring something different. On this tour, we shall explore Huasao, a magical place where locals enjoy spending time with their family. A place not many tourists visit. As well as visiting Humedal, we shall also take a quad bike ride for beautiful views across Huasao.
We will pick you up from your hotel/hostel
Drop off will be around the Plaza de Armas
Departure time does vary depending on the location of your hotel/hostel we aim to pick you up at 8 am, the exact time will be confirmed once your Cusco hostel/hotel has been confirmed to us.
Huasao Tour is a fun alternative to the normal tourist attractions in Cusco. We will travel by local bus for about 1 hour, take a quad up the hills for some incredible views, visit Humedal where trees have been carved into figures and take in the views of the lake.
We will come and meet you at your hotel and walk to the nearest bus stop heading for Huasao. We will then take the local bus for around 1 hour.
It is then just a short walk to Humedal de Huasao Cusco
We will take a walk around Humedal de Huasao Cusco, a magical place in nature. Trees carved into figures from lord of the rings is the highlight of this place. It is certainly something different from the normal tourist attractions but makes for a great relaxing day off from hiking huge mountains.
A land known by the witches and fortune-tellers for its cozy wetlands.
Quad bike rides are on the menu of this tour. We’ll take another short walk to the quad bike area where we will hire some quads (included) and take a drive through the back roads of Huasao to the view point for a beautiful view across Huasao. From here you can spot some of Cuscos famous mountian range in the distance.
Quad bike ride is for around 1 hour total, it all depends on the speed you are driving.
After we have explored the nature of Huasao we shall head back to Cusco taking the local bus. Because this is a local experience, sometimes the bus can be busy when heading back to Cusco so we may have to wait a few moments for the local bus. In general, the bus runs every 15 minutes, so if the first bus is full we can wait for the next local bus.
The bus ride back to Cusco will take 1 hour and will drop us off near the centre where we shall parts ways.
We will be back in Cusco around 6pm

This tour im sure is a private tour in Huasao. We were the only ones on the tour and it seemed very personalised around us which is great, we got to explore a local town with a good guide and felt very safe. It makes a great change from the normal touristik places
Huasao tour was fun with the kids, they loved it and loved to explore the carvings from the trees. The quad ride was great fun too and we got to go as fast as we liked. Perfect family day out!
This really was something different. It was nice to go at a slower pace than the normal tours found in the centre. This tour would be great for anyone with kids. Saying that it was just as fun without kids, certainly the quad bike ride.
